From now on you can visit a new and great set of destinations in Languedoc-Roussillon, southeast of France. It combines miles of coastline with a rugged hinterland.  Its sandy mediterranean beaches are perfect for family holidays with resorts such as La Grande Motte, Le Cap d’Agde, Palavas-les-Flots, Le Grau-du-Roi, Gruissan … Maybe they lack the charm of the Côte d’Azur resorts but they are much more quiet.

Inland, you can visit picturesque towns -Minerve, Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert, Olargues – and some interesting and lively cities such as Montpellier, Nîmes and Perpignan.  Carcassonne is the most beautiful medieval town in France and probably in Europe. And nature has also its place here, with Parc Régional du Haut Languedoc being the highlight.
